You can still see the rows of tomatoes but just barely.

Time to tie them up and weed.

What a difference a couple of weeks make. We will be using twine to support the plants between the tee posts, making it easier to till in the weeds. You can already see green tomatoes.

Springtime after the fire.

The creek that flows through our land has never looked so beautiful.
The fire took out all the brush and blackberries.
The big oak on the bank is burned and dead but the two big pines I believe are going to survive.
A couple of months ago I came upon two turtles in courtship right here!

These are some of our first hatched pheasants of this year.

This was last summer in our main garden.
We had just broadcasted vetch and wheat seed as a cover crop and Trixie is helping us "harrow in" the seed.
